Your case is EB and the follow-to-join for your family, right?

Can you share what documents did you send to NVC? Our welcome letter is not clear and just says "if this document applies to your case" and we need to send copies to NVS in a single package (no upload option). We need the policy document, so it may take some time to get that but don't know if we need I-864 or other documents because this is not a petition but a follow-to-join. Thank you.
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

Yes, I got my GC under EB1C & filed I824 for my family outside USA.

My attorney, only asked few documents for my family (I believe he had all my documents from when I submitted my I485).

Majorly he asked me for following documents this time:
      1. Copy of my GC
      2. Passport photos of each family member
      3. Copy of Passport of each family member
      4. Copy of Birth certificate of each family member
      5. Copy of PCC of each family member
He build the complete package on his own & sent it to NVC as hard copies (welcome letter stated to mail - no upload option for me too), along with the document checklist provided by NVC in welcome letter.

Since mine was EB1C, he didn't asked me for Affidavit of Support for my family. Neither asked me for any medical certificate for family.

Enub4 Any update on Interview Letter?

I received mine before few days & it doesn't say anything about biometrics or OFC appointment (only interview date mentioned).

I was reading over internet & confused if my family need to submit biometrics before interview. Any insights?

libra14 no interview letter yet, the consulate is taking more than a year to give appointments.

I think it depends on the consulate where you are going to do the interview. You need to review information about the consulate and how you can make appointments for biometrics and medical exam. I guess searching about that with the consulate will show you more information. Good luck.

libra14 congrats, we don't expect the visa interview soon, the consulate is taking around 1.5 years for immigrant interviews.

                      Hi,

I have same situation , mine is EB1C and received I824 Foolow ot join approval for my dependents ,Petitioner and Beneficiary Name shows mine only. But in approval category class showing E26 , is it normal or USCIS has to correct it.

Request you need to provide your input here

It’s possible that there was a clerical error in the approval notice. I recommend contacting USCIS or the National Visa Center (NVC) directly to clarify this issue. They can provide the most accurate information and help resolve any discrepancies.

In the meantime, it might be helpful to check online forums or support groups for others who have gone through the I-824 process. Sharing experiences can give you more context and help you understand if this is a common occurrence. Good luck, and I hope everything gets sorted out smoothly!
