Hi all! My husband had his immigrant visa interview at the US Embassy Cairo on Feb. 6, and he was told we need to provide more evidence. We uploaded what they asked for onto CEAC, then they sent the passport. We got our hopes up that the visa would be stamped on it, but it wasn't. Then they asked him to send it again, only to send it back to us once more! They sent it back this time after asking for proof of my (U.S. citizen) U.S. domicile. I uploaded exactly what they asked for the next day, so I once again was shocked that the visa wasn't on it. BUT there was a date written on a sticky label on the back of his passport: 23 Jul. 22... We haven't heard anything else from the embassy. So what does the date mean? Does anyone have any advice/thoughts/ideas?
