Received NVC letter to submit documents to process visa. Kindly help

Hello friends, my cousin has received the NVC letter to submit documents for EB Consular processing visa (Self-petition). If he is going to apply for himself what proof of financial evidence documents does he need to submit? He is in India.

I think is similar to those applying for F1 visas, you need to show that you have enough money and a good job (a job offer with a payment amount in the USA can help too).
