EB2-NIW Affidavit of Support

Hi all!

I have a quick question on Affidavit of Support. I have an approved I-140 EB2 NIW case being processed under Consular Processing in India. The Affidavit of Support fees for this case show "exempt" in my CEAC account. Do I still need to submit supporting docs under Affidavit of Support such as bank statements, tax returns/transcripts, etc to NVC? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think that the Affidavit of Support is not needed in EB cases, the employer should say how much money are you (or will you be) making and that is used instead of form I-864.
