Birth certificate for father (70+ years)

Anyone had any case for parents with 70+ age and without birth certificate went to consulate interview? During interview did consulate officer asked for original birth certificate? What was the outcome of the case - visa granted or rejected or requested more document? What did you do to show you don't have birth certificate?

1. DQ Date : April 2021
2. We provided letter explaining birth before 1970 so no birth certificate available along with school leaving certificate < this was accepted by NVC but, not sure during consulate interview officer will ask any other document hence, my lot of question for someone who might have gone through interview already
