I-797B Mistake

Dear Immihelp,

I received original I-797B from my employer and it mentions Chennai as the "Class Consulate or POE". Whereas based on my residence and also as stated in Part-4 of I-129 petition filed by the employer, my interview should be at Mumbai consulate.




Can I proceed with my interview at the Mumbai consulate since PIMS should take care of the petition details?

It looks like attorney or USCIS has made a mistake. You should get it clarified with your attorney about it.
