Urgent about US F2b!!!

I have a pending F2b petition, however my dad got naturalized so it automatically change from F2b to F1. My priority date is April 2002, but as of November 2010, they are already serving Sept 2002 priority dates.
Can I still choose to retain to F2b even if the priority date is overdue?
How can I opt out? What are the documents needed?
Please help me, I am very confused.
