I received an email from NVC with the instructions to pay the IV fee of $404 each for my parents. This is just a few days after I paid the AOS processing fee. Looking at the travel state website, I was under the impression that the next letter I would be getting would be to file I864 for the Affidavit of Support which would be followed by the IV fee letter. Is it normal to get the IV fee letter before the AOS filing?
