Dear Immi Help,
Myself and my wife attended the CP interview for GC (Employment based). My application being the primary has been approved. However, my wife's application as a dependent has been delayed citing reason for delay being section 221 (g). The Consular officer mentioned that further processing is required and the applicant should expect to wait for 6-8 weeks.
Could you please let me know what does section 221 (g) stand for and how long does the further processing last for.. 6-8 weeks as stated? what are the next steps?
