Invalidated Immigrant Visa
Hi,
Ive had a look around to see if anybody else has made the stupid and grave error I have today, and cannot see anything, so here goes for some hopeful help or pointers.
I recieved my Immigrant Visa from the US Embassy in London today, and based on the fact that I have waited nearly four years got overly excited, and without realising the implications, opened up the immigration package that was meant to be sealed for my entry into the US port next week - as a result it seems I have invalidated the visa, and my Wife and I have spent the last 14 hours online and making a huge number of calls trying to get a resolution or indeed a way to move forward.
The steps I have so far taken are emails to the state department in London, to the Senator of Washington state, to [email protected]
However nowhere can I see any info including the premium rate telephone number to make an appt with the US embassy in London to resolve this for immigrant visas, ONLY non immigrant visas.
Can anybody shed any light or pointers as to where to go for forward movement on this stupid mistake.
Id be forever greatful for any advice..
