Parents Immigrant visa application:
1. Medical exam conducted on 05 May. Mother advised to get spatum test - results in 2 months.
2. Interview at US Embassy New Delhi on 12 May. Advised to submit test results to VFS before visa could be processed.
3. Test results came in fine and report submitted to VFS on 15 Jul. Received visa on 20 Jul. But visa valid until 15 Oct.
The visa should have been valid for 6 months but it is not. This is too little time to wind up everything in India including property.
Is there any way we can get the visa extended without causing any problems?
