221(G) pending letter processing please help

My husband name , had an immigrant visa interview and after the interview in Mumbai. he had recieved 221G (white) pending letter which required additional documents to be submitted at VFS office to grant his visa. and he went o VFS office on Sep 14th to submit the documents required along with his passport. we were told that we should be hearing or recieving his passport with in a week or so but we still have not heard anything back. and even the VFS site is closed now and we have no other option to track the passport. VFS has a new site called ustraveldocs.com/in and they have new rules and regulations. does anyone know if a person has submitted the 221g pending letter along with passport and documents how long does it take to hear somethin back from embassy? we have tried to contact VFS but they have no information about my husband. we are really worried because we dont know where to track our passport please guide us out if anyone has clue about this new site ustraveldocs.

have you got your passport back for your husband, i am also in similar situation they have asked me to submit the following document

i134 form
tax papers and
my husband job letter

i am waiting for get it documents from my husband i have told to submit to OFC with my passport.

kindly let me know how long it took after submitting the document. you can track ur passport through us embassy website
