B2 visa for usa

I plan to visit USA in the first week of January 2015
Purpose of visit- visiting my girlfriend who moved to US for her master's.

She'd be writing an invitation for me.

My stats :

1. 25 year old bachelor, Electrical Engineer (currently doing business, garment showroom one year old, which is registered at elder brother's name)
2. Paid 2 years ITR (Income showed- 2.5lakh, 3.5lakh INR)
3. Bank balance of 2.5 - 3lakh INR for a period of 4-6 months.
4. Father is a class 1 government officer.
5. I can show some property registered at my name, rest I can show documents of property registered at parent's name
6. Travel history- China and Thailand

Chances of getting visa from the invitation I receive from my girlfriend ?
Should I get an invite from a green card holder ?
Should I apply directly as a tourist with my father ?

sh'es on F-1 visa as a student in a reputed university. She hasn't moved there permanently. still ?
