Hi Experts,
Me and my wife, both are having L1-B Individual Visa and my child is on dependent visa L2, wherein, my wife is his Primary (L1) visa holder.
My wife will be applying for Change of Status to move from L1 to L2 and will be dependent to me (I am L1 visa holder) as she will be taking a break for few months.
In this case, my child also has to apply for Change of Status to be L2 dependent of me? OR
His current L2 visa is still valid even if my wife changes her status to L2 and he can still stay legally in US without changing his status from mom to dad?
I have got different opinions from different lawyers and looking for some firm law or case wherein, this situation has occurred already?
Please help with your valuable advise.
