Do I Qualify for POI/OCI or maybe citizenship??? Please help!

I wanted to direct this question to the enlightened minds of this forum. I was born in the Phillipines with an Indian citizen dad and a Filipino citizen mom. Dad is still an Indian Citizen. I live in the US w/ a GC possessing an expired Philippine pasport. My questions are:

-Do I qualify for a POI, OCI or Indian Citizenship with only one parent being an Indian citizen?
-I saw somewhere in the immihelp site (PIO vs OCI) that applying for a POI, one doesn't need to send passport, but travisa site says yes, w/c is accurate?
-What documents from my father do I need to secure to justify eligibility? Copy of Indian passport? Copy of Birth Cert?

I appreciate your help and any adice would be greatly welcomed.

1. You can qualify for either PIO or OCI. The constitution of India does not allow dual citizenship. Therefore, you can't get the citizenship of India if you want to retain any other citizenship.

Thank you for your input...I just wasn't sure if having only one current Indian Citizen parent will qualify me to apply for PIO. I appreciate your help in clarifying my inquiry.
