OCI/PIO....Bit confused

Hi Guys,

i have been reading this part of the forum for over an hour and i am still CONFUSED .

i was an Indian citizen with an Indian passport but i have just become a British Citizen. My wife is British.

OCI CARD:

1. Only i can apply my wife cant correct?
2.Its cheaper than PIO card and has been benefits i.e. no time limit etc.
3.Do i have to send my British Passport with the applications? As it just says photocopies are only needed, but i see the US guys have send their passport.

PIO Card:
1. This is the one my wife can apply correct?

You can apply for OCI or PIO and your wife can apply for PIO.

OCI for kids. One parent is american and one parent is indian

Can anybody tell me if i can apply for an OCI card for my child. One of the parents is an american citizen and the other is an indian citizen.
