Passport Staple holes

Hi Folks,

I recently got my Indian passport renewed. When VFS returned my old passport, I noticed that the cover page(with my name etc) in the old passport has 2 small holes caused by a staple. I am worried whether this would cause any problems during travel as my visa is still in the old one. Has anyone had a similar thing happen with passport renewal?

Passports are routinely stapled. You have nothing to worry about. I speak from experience.
