Dammn issues with passportindia :( they not at all helping in..
Friends!!..
Here is original issue..:
I got passport issued in 2007 Ghaziabad (U.P), When I get my passport I found 3 mistakes on my passport. Additional space on my name and (1) letter is missing from my father’s name.
1. My name “ Kumar” printed as “ KU MAR”
2. My Father Name: “MURALI MOHAN” printed as “MURAL MO HAN”
I been USA and UK with same passport they never objected me.. now am returned back to India (Chennai) 1.6 yrs. Now I got job offer in USA which I need to apply in 26th Nov 12 else ill loose my offer .
With good sake, I applied for re-issue passport (Tatkal) to get those spelling mistakes corrected.
First level process went successfully.
I booked appointment, paid fee, on Counter B “Govt” officials they seen my issue and said.. this cann’t applied through Tatkal and stating its NAME CHANGE.
I try to convened them as its Correction not Name change with many many document profs.. they didn’t listen at all more over they put on stamp as canceled on existing passport without listing my words .. This is scary party.. they very rude and no humanity and don’t understand concern at all.. They put my application on hold after that no answer for direction.
And I went APO and explained the situation, he said you need to go RPO if the approve it ll proceed if not you need to submit ANNEX – E.
GREAT FUNNY PART IS: APO asked me that “Ghaziabad” is in INDIA?? and he asking me to go GHAZIABAD for correction.. which is 1500KM away from Chennai.. how he can say those words?
Here are my questions:
1. They canceled existing passport without information and without validating my application is that TRUE they have right to do that?
2. Why don’t they retrieve and validate existing passport data which is issued on 2007. (Application from and other documents?)
3. Is all RPO’s / PSK’s they ll not have centralized data?. Or they lazy to check / giving pain to innocent peoples?.
4. Whey APO asking me to ANNEX-E, (Name change process.. as per ANNEX-E. Need to submit old name valid prof. from where I can get valid prof the name itself dose’nt exists at all)
5. Why this much confused process.
6. They not ready to give written confirmation that they not able to retrieve the data of old passports is that true ? they not supposed to give?.
Can some one please suggest me where do i go and die with this issues...? They are not humans.. coz of this issue dont have sleep since 2 days..too much stress
dieing with nasty people and process.. they are just junk.. its shame on indian govt services..
