Lost Passport - Urgent Help

Hi all,

As my current Passport was about to expire by Feb 2013 , I had submitted the application for Re-issue of New Passport, along with my current passport and Self addressed Fedex Ground Envelope for delivery of new passport at VFS Global - New York

The VFS has shipped the FEDEX Ground Envelope with Passport on Oct 23rd 2012 , But Fedex lost it in transit . What am I suppose to now ? When I keep calling FEDEX, they are not giving responsible answer

Report your passport lost to the police. Give them the proof of Fedex tracking number which will enable them to file the request. Then apply for a new passport.
