Travel on Business visa - again?

Hi,

I traveled to India last year on a 1-year business visa (i am a US citizen) and it will still be valid through May 2013. I need to travel again in April/May this year, albeit not on business (personal).

Do I have to get a new tourist visa in order to do so?
Is any form of 'business invitation' letter necessary if I choose to travel to India on the same valid business visa this year?

what is the risk in traveling on the same (valid) business visa ?

I think you can travel on the same visa.

The risk is extremely minimal, if any.
