Applying for Indian Passport

Hi,

I recently was deported back to India on an Emergency Certificate. My old passport had expired in 1994. How can I renew my passport in India? Also, I had applied for asylum in America but it was never accepted. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

You will have to just apply for a fresh passport.

Thanks for the help. But I had a passport in the past and will it not show up in their system that I have held a passport? Also, what would happen with the inquiry that they send to America? What happens if they find out I have applied for asylum? Thanks again.
