Emergency travel to India -- OCI pending

My father is seriously ill and I need to visit India immediately. The problem is that my OCI processing is pending. The current status is that my old Indian passport is in Delhi and they are processing my application. I have my US passport with me. What are my options to get a temporary visa quickly to visit India?
