Observation in indian passport about marraige

Hello all

I recently got married in Dec'2012 and have travelled to switzerland on L1 Visa .
I want to process my wife's dependent Visa for switzerland and she is holding passport issued before marriage (means her name is still Maiden name in passport).
We have marriage certificate that has her name changed in it, to my surname.

I went for name change in her passport to passport office, that says it will take minimum 1 month for reissuing the passport.
Please help if i can get the observation from passport officer in bangalore, about our marriage and apply for dependent visa.Instead of going for reissue of her passport.

Please reply if anyone have done it before, if yes what i need to do to get observation.
Will there be any problem in dependent visa application for switzerland and at port of entry in switzerland.

I will be highly obliged if any information provided.

You don't need to change her name in her passport after marriage. You don't need to add her name in your passport either.

Just apply for the visa with the existing names and enjoy your trip.

Get those changes done when you have more time at hand.
