Name change endorsement in PIO or appy for new PIO card

    Name change endorsement in PIO or appy for new PIO card

    Do I need to apply for PIO endorsement for legal name change for minors having PIO card for US born INDIAN ? or do I need to apply for new PIO card?. Travisa sent multiple emails suggesting to go with 1) reissue of PIO, 2) new PIO 3) endorsement of existing PIO?.

    FAQ section does not mention anything about this. Reissue of PIO is for lost or damaged card and current PIO is not lost and/or not damaged.

    Not sure what to do now?. Pl help if anyone gone thru similar process.

    You can go for amendment of PIO card.
