    Hi All,

We've applied for my 8 months old son's PIO card and now see status as "Pending approval of the Government of India". Did anyone recently have seen the similar status? It will be great if you can share your experience. And does anyone kknow approximate howmany days it may take to get approval? Me and my wife both are Indian Citizen and our son born US citizen.

sameerH1bworke - Any update for you.. I am also in the same situation..

      Hi,
Did your son get his PIO yet ?

I am also in same situation as you are. Since 05/21 mine and my daughter's PIO is Pending approval of the Government of India. I know it has been just 9 days, but I wonder what is the criteria for sending/waiting Indian Govt. approval. I don't think they do this for all application ?. My daughter is scheduled to travel to India on next Monday. I guess, I will have to postpone her trip.. BTW here is our timeline...
