Our new born daughter is an US citizen currently residing in US. My and wife are on H1 and H4 visa residing in US. While were exploring the process of applying for the PIO card for our daughter, I came across a short term travel plan to India just for me. It would be a 2-3 weeks during which I would be in India while my family is going to stay back in US.
Can I submit the application for the PIO card for my Daughter at the regional office in India? I dont see any requirement for the applicant had to be inperson if submitting via mail. So, does it make any difference if I apply in India while the applicant is still in US?
I have read about submitting the application via Bls international while residing in US and that we can submit in a regional office in India while the applicant is already in India on a Visa.
