ECNR not in Indian passport very very very urgent

Hi,

when i applied my passport i got ECR stamp , but I stuided my engineering i should get ecnr stamp on the passport , but at that time i dont know that now iam in usa in h4 visa , wanted to apply h1 visa for next year

would i need to get stamp ecr to ecnr

how can i get the stamp on my passport

would ecnr stamp is needed to apply h1 b visa please help

ECR/ECNR is an Indian Government thing, US immigration has nothing to do with that.

But the next time you go to India, get the ECNR stamp. It may even be possible to get it from the Indian Embassy in the US.

my question is if i apply from h4 to h1 without ecnr stamp would there be any issue ?
