Advice on completing the OCI Application form

Dear All

I and all my family members are American Citizens

My Father was an Indian

I now wish to apply for OCI for the family, and am seeking some basic help and advice in submission of my application for the family,

I would be indebted if there was some way to get definitive clarification on the following



1. I have Three Minor children, the online application forms only have provision for two....what should I do

2. My wife does not have Indian Parents or Grand parents.....Should I be applying for her in the same application as for me and my children?

3. If my wife cannot apply for OCI, Does she need to separately apply for PIO ?, if so, when can she apply

4. How Is the fee worked out i.e per person or per Application?...We are Two Adults and Three Minors

5. My fathers papers are in Assamese language....will they need to be translated and the translation then Notarised?
