Validity / Duration of new Renewed Passport from USA

My Indian passport is about to expire / complete it's 10th year in the next 8 months and am planning to get it renew it from here from US. Can anyone who been through this process let me know, what would be the new validity / duration of the re-issued passport issued from US.

Also can you provide me with appropriate links to support this duration. I searched on BLS website and didn't find any such topic
