Hi,
I need to apply for reissue of the passport in Newyork. I dont have marriage cert and wife dont have passport and she is in india.
1)If i mention my marital status as 'Married', do i need to produce marriage cert? I am ok with NOT adding my pouse name in my passport. Still do i need to produce marriage cert?
2)If I go to India and apply for passport re-issue, do i need to produce marriage cert if i mention my marital status as Married? I have seen Annexure-K on India passport portal stating to get magistrate approval. Do i have to take my wife along with me to the court? or I can go alone? Actually i dont have enough time to get marriage cert in india.
3)Is there anyway to get marriage cert by my wife in india without my presence ?
