Hi,
There has been a minute mismatch in the name of my Father in the birth certificate and the matriculation certificate. The entry in the birth certificate is written as "Harish Jain (Hari) Mohanlal" whereas in matriculation certificate it is written as "Hari Jain". Discovering which the PSK forwarded my application to the APO. The APO guided me for making the changes in the birth certificate to match the Father's name in my matriculation certificate. To which the Municipal authority has agreed upon, with the condition (which is also their norm) that the previous entries will be retained in the birth certificate in brackets alongside the new corrected entries. So the Father's name in my birth certificate after correction will look like "Hari Jain (Harish) Mohanlal". (Note: Here Mohanlal is my father's father name). So, can i now re-schedule my appointment as the documents appear to be in order?
Kindly reply.
P.S. the toll free number is down for sometime and i didn't find any email address to communicate with them directly.
