OCI Card Status Online

Hello,

I have submitted the OCI application with BLS International in November 2013 and they told me they submitted the application with consulate on 4th December 2013. However, there is no status update since then. I understand Indian Government has a website where you can track the status of OCI applications: http://passport.gov.in/oci/statusEnqury. However, I can not track the application here. I am very concerned. If the application is submitted at BLS International in NY, can you still check the status of this application on this website? Please advise. Your help will be much appreciated.

Hi Sachin,

I submitted my OCI application in early Feb at Chicago. The last status update on BLS site states that it was submitted to the consulate on Feb 18th. On the passport.gov.in website (which seems to be accessible only during the night times), the status shows that it will take about 42 days for the processing. I hope you are able to see this message.
