  • Issue with BLS FedEx for Passport Renewal

    Hi Fellow Immihelp'ers,
    I tam in a tricky and rather sticky situatuation with BLS FedEx. here is the long story short:
    I entered my details (naem, address, CC etc.) on "FedEx delivery service of your PASSPORT to your preffered address" page, it took me to the next page "FedEx delivery service of your PASSPORT", where it says review your order , Total amount : USD 15.00..blah blah..i cliclked on "Pay with your credit card"..looked like it processed some thing, because the page refreshed but i still see the same page . however i never got any confirmation neither on the sceen nor in the email. i was being stupid and clicked on it second time thinking the order did not go through...again same thing..no confirmatio in email nor on the screen. yes, i checked spam folder too..nothing in there

    I contacted BLS and they are telling me that they dont see any confirmation on their side either..now i am not sure if my order went through or not. i cehcked my credit card statement too...it doesnt show up on there because its too early..just one day.

    I am totally lost..i dont know if i should go buy fedex shipping labels directly from Fedex and forget about $15 (may be $30, because i clicked on "pay" twice )..did any one end up in this situation?
    any tips or experiences..please share.

    What do you mean by BLS Fedex? Are you referring to generating a prepaid self addressed label from Fedex? If you havent received any confirmation, you should check the following 2 sources.

    1. Call your CC company and ask them for any pending transactions with Fedex. They can cancel the pending transactions if you request.
    2. If you dont want to cancel the pending transaction, you can call Fedex and ask them to resend the label for which you have already paid for. You cannot get this label resent from a local store.

    If your CC company confirmed that there are no pending transactions, you are good to go. I would recommend going to your local UPS or Fedex and getting this done in person.

      It sounds like your transaction never went through. One option is to try it again (because you want to use their FedEx option) and then dispute any additional charges that may show up on your credit card.
