US born child to indian parents on I-94 - travelling India (Tourist or Entry Visa ?)

Hello,

We have a daughter born in USA 3 months back.
Me and my wife L1 visa expired and we are on valid I-94 for 2 more years.

I came to knew that i cannot apply PIO card on I-94.

Now to travel to India, for my daughter, should i apply Tourist Visa or Entry visa....??

Here are brief points i read in several forums. Please tell which of the below points are true.

1) Some forums say you can apply tourist visa for minor and get PIO card in India.
2) Some say that you cannot apply PIO card on tourist visa.
3) Some say you cannot apply tourist visa if parents are of indian origin. You can only apply Entry visa.

If i apply Entry visa, can i apply PIO card for my daughter in India ?
How long can my daughter stay in India on Entry visa ?
