Translated birth certi and gram panchayat letter -birth
My consine wants to apply for OCI BASED on his mother, who is british, but she was born in Vankia , dist Jamnagar,Gujarat,
he has got letter saying his mother is born there by TALATI MANTRI – vankiya gram panchayat, VANKIA DIST JAMANGAR DT. 6-4-44.
duly singed and stamped. High commission in uk is asking for birth certificate, in those days there was no birth certificate. the family stayed
in Jamnvanathli-dist Jamnagar for long and moved to uk later.what is secondary proof to prove his mothers birth place and can we give notarized affidavit,
they have got old passport which bears his sons name but british passport.
now his daughter, has guajrati birth certificate, issued at Rajkot Muni Corp, Rajkot, The commission is asking for English birth certificate, The certificate in
English is received by them on the same form no.9 of the RAJKOT MUNIC CORP. which is English but is post dated, as per rule, they want to be verified and
signed by Distrct Magistrate or Collector, of Rajkot district. This is a difficult process, As a matter of fact, both GUJARATI AND English birth certificate are issued by the
same authority, RAJKOT MUNICIPA CORPORATION RAJKOT, WHICH ARE IN ORIGINAL AND DULY SIGNED AND STAMPED, we fail to unde.rstand as to why such
certificate, which is issued by the same AUTHORITY, IS INVALID. CAN ANY ONE HELP TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM .
just to mention that , my consines brother, already have Person of Indian Origin card, will this be enough proof to prove my consines that he is a person of Indian origin.
