PIO card - Parents H1 approval status

Hi,
Im planning to apply for a PIO card for my son who is 3 months old and was born in New York.I have applied for his passport which i will be recieving in a weeks time.My query is regarding the visa status of the parents in the requirements for PIO card checklist.I currently have an approval notice valid till June 06,2014 and my extension is being processed.Would this be a concern when issuing my son's PIO card.
We are planning to travel to India in the first week of August 2014.
Kindly advice.

PIO card - Parents H1 approval status

What BLS asks for is a valid approval notice to confirm your status in the US. Since your approval notice is till June 2014, you should not have any issues. Provided all documents are submitted as specified in the instructions, you should be able to get your sons PIO card in 1-2 weeks time.
