Hi,
My wife who was in H4 stayed back in India to attend a course after our vacation in December. I have brought her Original passport with me to file ITIN, but as requested by IRS i have send her Original passport to them. They have issued the ITIN but they havent returned back the passport. I have called and mailed but didnt have favorable reply. They are telling they have send the Passport but I havent received it.
Now I would like to know the process to apply for a new passport for my wife. Do I have to file a police report in US as well as in India..? Please provide the detailed steps to follow.
