Anyone applied for visa to India to BLS NY in month of April?

Has anyone here applied for a visa to India during this time to BLS NY ?

I just wanted to see what the turn around time / timeline is for visa and also if possible can someone share their experiences with me. I am thinking of applying for visa for my kids but not sure if I will get it in time for my visit to India.
