“It has been brought to notice that many applicants who had earlier submitted their applications for Visa/OCI/PIO/Renunciation to M/s BLS International Ltd. were receiving it back without a fee which has been encashed by the outsourcing company. M/s BLS International Ltd. has clarified that applicants should raise their claim giving all particulars about the refund and send these details to company's email ID <[email protected]> for processing.
All claims/complaints regarding refund of fee and non-submission of applications may be sent/directed to M/s BLS International Ltd.

This is horrible. Why is the Indian embassy not stepping in, taking charge, and helping people out? Is this not what they are there for?

If you go to the BLS website, it states that everything is transferred to Cox & Kings. I cannot track any applications on BLS anymore.

If you go to Cox & Kings website, it states that BLS has not done any hand over. (Only BLS Houston has done it). I cannot track any applications on Cox & Kings website.

Since March, BLS NY tracking previously showed application received and waiting documentation check. Now everything is gone down the drain.

Hopefuly ,the folks with the missing money should get it resolved as per the new notice on cox and kings site to send claims refund to bls. My issue is different.My pio package was delivered to bls on May 20th by fedex. Now neither bls has information on that nor cox and kings. Since they did not even provide me any file no,there is no tracking I can do .I am just hoping they atleast return the passport if nothing else

not knowing who has my passport and visa application. Fed ex tried delivering it to BLS they refused it and it was redelivered to the new company several days later. All I keep getting is computer generated replies that says wait 48 hours lol.. Nothing is showing up in tracking on the website.

There is a bus that is a lot cheaper then airfare if anyone plans on going to their offices. It's called Mega Bus. I took it to get a visa a little over a year ago from LA to SFO it was only $40.00 they have them throughout the USA.

Hello, Friends:

I am in the same boat. Applied for OCI for 4 people and renunciation for 2 people at BLS NY office. Total amount sent by cashiers check $1192.80. Application was mailed by fedex on April 14, BLS received it on April 16. I got the whole packet back minus the cashiers check on 5/29 without any explanation.

Since then I have e-mailed [email protected], no response. Complained to indian consulate, no response. Why do we have to fight to get our own money back? Any way to send this to the new Modi government, since they are so gung ho on efficiency and stopping the corruption?

Please put my name in the growing list of swindled people:

I did receive a reply. For my case it was OCI transfer because of passport change. I applied in March. Consulate actually forwarded the email to BLS and someone from BLS responded saying it takes 6-8 weeks and it is not 6-8 weeks yet and therefore I have to wait further. I guess their calculator came from some other planet so I gave up on it.

I heard back.

Funny thing is - the Consulate Minister emailed the CEO of BLS and the BLS Atlanta location manager who I had and have been emailing for the past 2 months but no meaningful response.

Needless to say, after the email from the Consulate Minister, BLS is paying only lip service by acknowledging the email and did nothing else.

I finally gave up and will be re-applying for our US passport and OCI again in the next few weeks/months.

BTW, you can contact BLS staff on LinkedIn - they have profiles there and obviously they don't care.
