Relationship between BLS order no. and the file or receipt no.

I applied for my son's PIO by mail at BLS San Francisco. It is delivered on 05/14th by Fedex. BLS has not acknowledged the receipt of the application. So I have no additional reference numbers that start with PIOS or USA other than the 12 digit numeric BLS order form number.

Those of you who received the acknowledgements from BLS with reference numbers that start with PIO or USA, can you please say if there is any relation between the order form number and the numbers that follow PIO YYYY X? It is probably random, but worth asking opinion of others that have those numbers. Has anyone with status updates on CKGS in BLS section been able to track with just the passport number? I am trying with just the passport number and it saya no records found.

BLS and the consulate are not responding. CKGS says they have no record of the application. Don't know what else to do. Thanks.

Same here. I sent my wife's PIO application to BLS, SFO. It was sent to consulate from BLS. But since then there's no info on it. CKGS says 'no records found'

I got a call from the sfo consulate. They gave me the tracking id. Said they are sending the documents to ckgs and I will be able track it once they receive it. Glad to hear that the application is with the consulate. This is after I wrote to the consulate asking for help locating my son's pio application.

Did you contact the sfo consulate earlier through mail/phone?

Our daughters application was received by CKGS on May 21st. They have not provided us with Tracking Id.
We don't know whether our application is safe with them.

No email listed. Sfo consulate contact page lists a bunch of people. Someone by name joshi is listed for pio. Wrote to him. In my case bls didn't acknowledge my application and ckgs was saying no records found. So I only wanted to find out if the application and mainly the passport is safe or not.
