My son's PIO is still in ckgs washington office.

Status: "Your application is in process."
My current project is coming to an end and am in H1B. We have to move out of the country once it is completed. Waiting for PIO, ckgs always says your application under process and in the office its not send to embassy yet. When i ask any particular reason, they are not providing any other info other than PIO will take 6-8 weeks, so plan your trip accordingly. I am not sure what to do once my job is gone? Its almost 3 weeks, ckgs is not submitting it to embassy, dont know why and they are not giving a clear reply. Any help / suggestion please?
