CKGS NY-- Passport Return Delays/Rude behaviours

Good Morning All

Has anyone been experiencing Passport return delays with CKGS NY office. We applied for PIO card in Feb, 2014, got the PIO Card issued from BLS International in May 2014, by the time we went to pick it up, the contract has been awarded to CKGS. Received an email from CKGS and their website shows the PIO/Passport is ready for pickup, COME and collect it. For the last one week going to CKGS-- You stand outside in line upto 6 hours, the security gaurds dont let you in, very very rude behaviours and threatning in nature.. If you ever manage to get into the building after waiting in line for N number of hours, the employees there give round about answers, cant find passport or its with embassy or its with BLS International or give your contact info, we will locate and get back to you.

Both Embassy and BLS International sent emails to us and CKGS saying we dont have the passport/PIO card, and provide details of the handover list and docket number for CKGS to locate where it is with them. Till now no response from CKGS

We are vexed, frustrated, as we are travelling in a weeks time.. Totally in loss regarding what needs to be done... Can we proceed legally, or what are the options. They are not even issuing a lost passport.

We have a similar kind of answer from CKGS (SFO). One of our friend's passport and PIO are lost in this process, they ended up applying for a new one. My OCI is in the same condition, card received and still pending update from consuate/CKGS. I'm scared to send them my original passport now. I will advise you make a trip to consulate and clarify with them. This is such a frustrating experience for all of us.
