Renunciation Application to CKGS SFO

Hi

I applied for just renunciation in May directly to CKGS SFO. Everytime I call them I get the same information from the rep that my application is in process. I knew about the transition so I only applied for renunciation. Anyone else who applied for just renunciation and received it during this last two months.

I applied for my wife's renunciation in May at CKGS, New York. I am in the same position like you. The application is still in process on their web site. Making calls or sending e-mails didn't help so far.

Yesterday the status has changed to "Your application has been submitted at The Indian Embassy for further processing". Hopefully it should get processed soon.

I received my renunciation certificate and my passport with cancel stamp back today.
