I want to get my passport renewed and I want to get my wife's name added to the application as well. On the website I find that the fees for passport renewal (jumbo) is $116.20 and for adding spouse's name is also $116.20. Since I want to do do I need to pay $116.20 or $ 232.40?
Also when placing the order on the BLS site where it asks me for my married status per most recent passport, I have put that as Unmarried. I have also added my wife's name in the Spouse's name section. I hope this is appropriate. As per the order site the cost is coming to $116.20.
Would love to hear back. I have been calling their Helpline but no one EVER picks up.
