Too Many Holidays for CKGS, Consulates and GOI

It appears all these entities are closed on Indian as well as US holidays, too many in July and August. Does anyone know, from the past experiences, if these holidays in anyways impact the timelines for approvals?

This has always been the case - at least with the consulates. From my past experience this does not affect the actual processing times for the GOI process - their website says 42 days not 42 working days. But it does cause delays here in the US.
