  • denied exit from India OCI

A family member was trying to fly back to Europe but Immigration in Delhi impeded him from taking his flight as he had forgotten the FRO registration paper (a grave mistake to make ).

Is it legal to deny a European national to exit India because he forgot a paper that proves residence in India for over 180days?

Has anybody experienced a similar situation?

Ok maybe you did not read my comment.

Was the passenger allowed to fly once they retrieved the document?
