OCI and Name mismatch

Hi

Some time SFO consulate had an option where when there was name mismatch btweeen US passport and Indian passport. The process was to give an affidavit with indian and US new paper add. I dont see that option any more. Wondering if the process changed ?.


I see only below three options now in SFO OCI.

1. Marriage Certificate showing the name change if the name was changed at marriage.
2.Official court order for the name change
3. Endorsement of name change during naturalization process.

What are my options if the above three is not applicable ?. Is anyone else facing challenges like me ?.

How is your name different ? Is the mismatch in the middle name? last name? Unless you give more details, it's difficult to help.

Seems like you changed your last name in US passport if I read your post correctly?
