    Hi,

    I want to submit OCI application in-person in SFO office of CKGS. So i tried to take on-line appointment, and I got the error

    "Applicant not in this process."

    Web-Ref-ID is USASI16309XX (This number was under the barcode, printed in PDF file generated by https://passport.gov.in/oci/)

    Either of the following could have resulted in "Applicant not in this process." error
    1) I tried to take online appointment with CKGS, right after filling part-A and part-B in https://passport.gov.in/oci/. Should I give 2 or 3 days?//
    2) I used the wrong web-ref id.

    Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong here.

        Hi Folks,

        Was this issue got resolved ? Is it browser issue ? Did anyone check with customer support ?

          solution

          After 2 useless email's from their customer service. I finally got hold of a customer service person. The issue can be solved by removing the last 2 digits of your passport numbers from the 1st registration page. In the second page it asks for your passport number again at which point you can enter the full passport number.
          This trick helped in getting me an appointment.

            Thanks for your suggestion, it works well. I am now able to try and make an appointment but I think the interface is still buggy because even dates till December 2016 are booked!!!
