I sent my Indian passport for renewal in postal (Re-issue of Passport after 10 years case ) to bls , got an update that package was received but after few days they informed me they received my package opened and my passport was missing . I tried calling them, sent multiple email there was no proper response both from courier service and bls end. So filed a police complaint for lost passport and reapplied under lost passport category, and at last they provided me 1 year validity passport.
Using that passport I applied for my h1 extension and it got approved. now I am not sure, what is the process to renew this 1 year validity passport, still it as 8 months validity.
Please let me know if anyone know the procedure when i can apply for renewing my 1 year validity passport, should I wait until it expire or can I send it for renewal now. I am planning to go for visa stamping, not sure if 1 year validity passport will reduce by visa end date though my approval notice have 3 years validity
