PIO Adult and Renunciation of Indian Citizenship
I am applying for PIO card and Renunciation of Indian Citizenship together, and this is just a single adult application for me. I am a bit confused about the "Passport withdrawal order form" which is one of the several forms required for PIO application.
1. Why are we required to fill "Passport withdrawal order form" in the list of documents required for PIO application?
2. Which Passport No information (Indian or USA?) should I enter in the "Passport withdrawal order form"?
3. What service type (PIO or Renunciation?) should I select in the "Passport withdrawal order form".
4. Shouldn't "Passport withdrawal order form" be in the list of documents for "Renunciation of Indian Citizenship" instead of
PIO application since I am renouncing my Indian citizenship and thus withdrawing my Indian Passport which means that I should enter my Indian Passport No and select Renunciation as the service type?
5. What is "Reference ID" in the "Passport withdrawal Order form".
